We had been here years ago and remembered it fondly - so popped in for a swift one en route to Wales early Monday lunchtime. Has been sympathetically modernised and retained interesting nooks and crannies. We sat in the sunny patio area. Beer selection disappointing (one pump of three turned round) - but worth seeking out for the building itself.

Large, historic coaching inn in a quiet village setting in High Street. Three beamed areas around a central bar area. Walled patio area to the side. Accommodation available. Closed 23rd April 2023 - planning application to convert to private dwelling submitted 5th July 2023 - Now withdrawn and being marketed as a pub.
