Lunchtime cycle out here to meet three old wheelers. The right-hand (dog friendly) bar was cosy with log fire, 3 dogs and half a dozen drinkers.

Lunchtime cycle with my son - only Masterbrew on tap so I decided that our second pint should be in Faversham. My son was reliving some of his mis-spent youth with a pint of Hurlimans, but bemoaned that the ABV was lower than when it was known as “Hooligans”.

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70ExcellentI'm not usually a fan of this anymore, but this was delicious-mellow, without that harshness I've come to dislike.
