Visits Details

25 Jan 2019 (McGargle)
On this visit the place was quiet mid-evening and lacked atmosphere. The craft kegs were run of the mill; think Williams Joker and its ilk and cask quality was limited.

Nightjar (formerly Slightly Foxed) - Turbo Tuk-Tuk5.20ExcellentBrewed with coconut and lemongrass this beer worked. Pulled through a tight sparkler it was light and hazy; both creamy and refreshing.
Magpie - Hoppily Ever After3.80PoorOh no it wasn't! This was a bog standard bitter.

The pub is found in Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD1 1LH.

In Market Street, opened in the premises which used to house the Bradford Brewery-run The Exchange, it's a vaulted room with potential for lots of atmosphere and used to be part of Bradford's Wool Exchange. Owned by the person who owns Nightjar Brewery, it usually serves five keg and five cask beers.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
