A family and dog friendly pub in rural South Oxfordshire that is particularly popular with walkers. The large bar and dining area are comfortable and cosy with a large open fire at one end. Live music evenings regularly held. Outside is an extensive decked area and a separate beer garden with further seating and Aunt Sally. Pub and village featured extensively in the 1975 Dr Who story 'The Android Invasion' to which interior posters, scripts and various other displayed memorabilia reflect this accolade. South Oxfordshire branch Pub of the Year, 2019.
