Was meant to be meeting up with some pals here but they'd already dismissed the beer lineup and moved on. I ordered myeself a £2.95 pint of London Pride before I checked my phone and realised. Damn.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10PoorTired and poorly conditioned. A mere shadow of it's brilliant caramel-infused best. Good decision boys.

A ten-strong contingent gathered for an overdue catchup last night. The lure of the elusive seasonal London Porter influenced our choice of venue. The Pride-battered cod & chips was good nosh but the best part of £9 and awkwardly served in a large basket that was eloquently described as "a ball-ache to eat" by one of our party.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Porter5.40ExceptionalSelf-professed "World's Finest Porter" and hard to argue. Pitch black with burnt barley and a subtle late chocolate hit. Dangerously smooth and drinkable for its strength. Dry finish leaves you gasping for more. We were forewarned that this was the last cask in the cellar and that it might run out at any moment but despite our best efforts of 19 pints between us, we were unable to see it off.

The pub is found in Bromley, Greater London, BR1 1PW.

Comfortable High Street (north end) pub with numerous leather sofas and basic bar food. A little on the pricey side but generally of high quality in an area famed for its loud and leery lager bars. The other Fuller's pub in town, The Partridge, is just yards down the road.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 6 different beers and tried 4 of them.
