Last time I was in here it was the local poty. Now, down to 4 guests it's an also ran. Packed pub with a lack of diversity seeing as it's Birmingham. On my journey from Solihull to Sutton Coldfield I was shocked by the number of pubs that had closed down...and looked as if they had been for sale for a long time. Birmingham has changed.

In Lichfield Road, a corner house whose inside is adorned with hundreds of hanging glass droplets, which refer (as does the pub's name) to one of the many pools which used to surround Sutton Coldfield.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
