Afternoon visit during a quiet time of day. Camra discount was well advertised here and I was impressed to see that during the time of my visit 100% of the customers produced Camra cards and all ordered the same beer as I had done.

A fine old Fourteenth Century building close to the Cathedral, it was a lucky survivor of the blitz and these days sports an open plan bar on the ground floor with an upstairs area used mainly for dining.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 2 of them.
