Second visit for a 20 minute wait for the train back to St.P, this time much busier with folk spilling out of the pub and occupying the many tables outside on a thankfully dry and mild evening.

Lunchtime just a couple of others in this friendly and welcoming micropub starting off today's pub 'tour'. Landlady provided much appreciated local knowledge of 'ones to avoid' on our list today.

Mid evening train change visit. Very hospitable and humorous bunch of looals in this tiny venue.

I have been meaning to come here for some time and as I was on a train that stopped at Wellingborough I decided to alight here and wait for the next one. A good micropub style atmosphere although some spirits are available and they have one of those Instant Guinness machines. I found out after my second pint that they do Camra discount in here. A good pub, I liked it.
