My first visit in late afternoon daylight and doesn't detract from the visual impact of the place. Busy with many groups outside enjoying the warm sunny weather, we opted for the calmer inside and parked at one of the comfy horseshoe tables. Chatting to the bar staff revealed Les 3 Brasseurs opposite has been closed 3 years, an early victim of the pandemic.

Much more civilised atmosphere tonight hence we sat at the capacious bar until we decided to head for a pizza 20 mins walk from here.

Late evening to early morning place was buzzing no doubt for a few more hours yet. Despite this the efficient bar staff kept waiting times minimal by pre-empting your next order. We found a corner of the bar to perch and enjoyed the atmosphere here.

The pub is found in Toronto, Canada, M6K 3P6.

Local Public Eatery is the fifth and most eastern outpost of this chain of restaurants owned by the Joey Restaurant Group. Occupying a lofty Liberty Village corner lot that most recently housed Origin Liberty, the 120-seat pub joins William's Landing and Brazen Head in the neighbourhood. Keeping with the original, industrial character of the area, the interior is open, offering a rec room kind of vibe. A shuffleboard table and 15 big screen TVs playing sports contribute to the laid-back atmosphere, while a central bar fuels the room and seating for another 60 can be found on the patio.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
