An airy cafe-bar on the High Street. Until conversion to pub use, the building was home to Lawson's Furniture Shop. Founded in 1763 at the time of its closure it was the oldest-established furniture showroom in England. The current building dates from 1878. Now it is a pub specialising in beer and cider across all formats.
