Evening visit to watch football. The pub has 5 separate areas - all showing the football with loud commentary despite few people actually watching. I would t have stayed if I did et want to see the match.

After a fun day of meetings I managed to miss my bus by 10 seconds so I headed off to the nearest boozer. Aren't boozers great.

Not overly busy but it is a big place and there were people in every section.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Young's - Kew Gold4.00PoorIt took a while to get this out of the handpull. The barmaid said there was "air in the line". It came out cloudy and never cleared. It didn't taste off at all but then again it didn't taste of anything much either other than slightly oaty water.

I'd been to get my hair cut and I was coming back past the pub. There was scafolding around the outside and I thought it was closed but peering in the window I spotted a few customers and also a Whitstable beer! ...so I went in. It was fairly empty but that might be because it looks closed. I sat in a big chair near the back of the pub and drank my beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Whitstable - Native Bitter3.70ExcellentExcellent condition. Light and fruity with mandarin zesty flavours dominating. Really nice.
