Busy in the early evening. Cheap. Friends have converged here from all points of the compass ahead of football at Field Mill.

A one-time Batemans pub, very handy for the reborn railway station - although on the side away from the town centre. The pub retains divisions between a nice selection of rooms. There is also a small garden area. Well-known for good value meals. There are four handpumps on the bar counter.
