Mid afternoon and quiet, for a while we were the only customers. The bubbly barmaid stole the show here and obviously most humbled she had such distinguished customers to engage with.

After a driving tour round Burton looking at the great breweries and coors, it was time to visit a micro. 7 beers on after the local ale trail yesterday. Cheeky landlord. A UPL.Up from London. More expensive than Thanet micros.

This pub was recommended to me by the lady behind the bar at the Roebuck, it was nice to find a genuine micropub and enjoy a pint in peace and quiet. There were four cask ales on sale.
