This huge pub is almost empty at lunchtime. No cask beer is available today; the barman suggests that I might like the keg Whitewater Lager instead. I decline politely.

A very large pub with two big ground floor bars, an upstairs bar and a courtyard garden. It is in the Queen's Quarter, close to the Ulster Museum and the Botanic Gardens. Popular with a student clientele. There is one handpump on the bar of the room to the right as you come in.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
