Pub number eight on the tour. Ian wanted to come here because it did continental lager. Oh joy. Nice enough place though. We sat downstairs and discussed the difference between "holiday lager" and "proper lager". Isn't lager fun.

Evening visit. I had wanted to try this venue for several years but to no avail. Pumpclips turned round and told all cask ales had sold out and a delivery was awaited. Hmmmmmmmh"! Skedaddled.

Tuesday afternoon and very welcoming. A good selection of respectable bottled beers, I had a Schlenkerla Rauchbier in addition to my cask.
