One of the few pubs in Abingdon that is not Greene-King controlled and by far the best choice of real ales and ciders, all well served.
Was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon because the 6 nations rugby was on, but still fine to sit around a table with friends and chat.

Part of the Crown & Thistle Hotel which is in an old coaching inn in Bridge Street. Currently has 7 handpumps spread through its bars with an emphasis on local breweries such as White Horse, Wychwood, Hook Norton, West Berkshire Brewing Company. Cobbled courtyard.
