Late evening visit. Only a few scattered in corners. Watched end of F1 Grand Prix on a massive screen - don't people's teeth look large on it in interview close ups.

Late evening visit until close. I have passed this pub thousands of times on a bus and tonight was the right time to venture in for the first time. Very friendly bar staff and generally an older crowd were drinking.

The pub is found in East Greenwich, Greater London, SE10 9UW.
***There is a sign outside now saying the pub will close on 30th November 2024.*** An Irish styled pub in Trafalgar Road which for many years was adorned with Young's brewery signage despite never being of that brewery's houses. Narrow but going back a long way the bar is on two levels. There are three handpumps always selling from national beer brands. TV sports predominates. Planning permission given for building a hotel on top and suggested pub will close end February 2024 to allow this to happen but in fact no firm closure date even by June 2024.
We have visited this pub 8 times, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
