Visits Details

22 Jun 2022 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit. Managed to get a seat and table in the bar. All outside seats taken including what appears to be a rocking chair.
Anspach & Hobday - The Ordinary Bitter3.70Good
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - DDH Jaipur5.90GoodNot normally on cask. Not pre-warned it was a milky murk. OK but bears no resemblance of any sort to usual Jaipur
Brockley - We Are Lewisham Golden Ale4.50Not Tried
08 Jun 2022 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit, my first here. Impressed by the friendliness of all customers and staff and owners. Clearly cask fans and modern keg too. Should be a honeypot when the students return for autumn term in Goldsmiths opposite.
Anspach & Hobday - Shirker's Best Bitter3.70GoodRe-badged The Ordinary Bitter. Better example of this than I recall having elsewhere. Mid brown basic English bitter
Brockley - We Are Lewisham Golden Ale4.50GoodUsually no lover of Brockley beer this had good tastes, someone said a new brewer has taken over
