The pub is found in Carleton, Cumbria, CA11 8TP.
Just over the river from Brougham Castle outside Penrith. The river was the English/Scottish border before the Norman Conquest. Long roadside/corner house with a modern galleried extension at the rear and outside seating.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
