Nearing the end of my ride to Penrith. Music and an outside bar attracted me in. Mini beer festival and barbecue on the go.
Fell - Tinderbox IPA6.30GoodGreat flavours - a bit opaque for my preference. Just £4 a pint (see Fell Bar later for comparison).

Just over the river from Brougham Castle outside Penrith. The river was the English/Scottish border before the Norman Conquest. Long roadside/corner house with a modern galleried extension at the rear and outside seating.
