Late afternoon we were the only customers for a while however a few groups drifted in a bit later. Friendly and welcoming, as soon as a beer was inquired about and without prompting, the enthusiastic and knowledgeable barman presented us with a taster. I've not listed the nitro tasters we sampled.

Pub five on the minibus tour. It was getting dark when we arrived. Lovely interior. I really liked it. But let down a bit by the quality of the beer.

The pub is found in St Michaels, Kent, TN30 6TG.
Brewery tap for McCanns on the ground floor of the recently decommissioned American Oast at Haffenden Farm, home of Hukins Hops.The brewery is in a glass sided extension to the old hop picking machine shed. The slightly sloping floor of the taproom is reminiscent of the approach to some kind of shrine to beer.A wall of keg fonts, together with a bank of handpumps.
