When I was in Norfolk in the seventies, this was one of the few pubs selling cask beer: I often wanted to visit it then, but finally got there today, on a Monday lunchtime.Rather like being teleported back to 1974, a classic.

Converted from a Victorian flint built village schoolroom In Swaffham Road, when Watneys closed the village pub in the seventies. Three main rooms-a servery area, a bar in the central section, and a dart board and bookshelves in the far end. A unique establishment.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
