In King Street, historic Grade-II listed pub dating from 1664 in which tradition has it Daniel Defoe met Alexander Selkirk, who became the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Reopened in June 2021 after being closed for over two years and it has been reinvented as an alehouse.
