Pilgrim - Talisman | 4.90 | ![]() | Good head and lacing on this dark premium ale. A malty first hit. A very slightly chocolatey and coffee-flavoured mouthfeel with a lingering maltiness. |
Pilgrim - Surrey Original Pale Ale | 3.70 | ![]() | Good head and lacing on this 3rd of Surrey pale ale. It had a lightly fruity first hit and a dry, malty mouthfeel lingering. |
Pilgrim - Gold Spice | 4.60 | ![]() | Good head and lacing and a gingery first hit on this golden coloured pale. It had a very spicy mouthfeel. Lingering was a very dry bitterness with a spice or two on a roll with this moreish third. |

Pilgrim - Highwayman | 5.10 | ![]() | It was recommended by the barman in The Hatch earlier and this is a limited edition as only one cask has been made of it. A fine rum-infused stout, it came with good head and lacing. It had a very dry, moreish first hit. It had a malty and rum-flavoured mouthfeel and was pleasantly dry and not sweet in the least. Certainly the best in the day's visits and enjoyed by the rest of our party hugely as well. |
Pilgrim - Progress Best Bitter | 4.00 | ![]() | In fine form was the head and lacing and the first of the trio in my flight of thirds. A fine tasting hoppy, malty mix in the mouthfeel with a moreishly dry lingering aftertaste. |
Pilgrim - Talisman | 4.90 | ![]() | Very good head and lacing. A very dry, malty mouthfeel with a hint of chocolate and coffee notes. This lingered on to make this dark premium ale very moreish. |

Pilgrim - Excalibur | 4.10 | ![]() | Superb head and lacing and a yeasty look about it as not just a light froth in this amber ale. Very moreish and lightly fruity with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. |
Pilgrim - Progress Best Bitter | 4.00 | ![]() | Very good head and lacing and as you would expect when drinking at the source. A very bitter, bitter and as I prefer. A good old-fashioned mouthfeel with a pleasing dryness in the aftertaste. |
Pilgrim - Talisman | 4.90 | ![]() | Holding its head and lacing to the very end as this was the third of the thirds I sampled. Chocolatey with coffee notes but not sweet and pleasantly malty instead. A good dry aftertaste. |

The pub is found in Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9BL.
Situated in the centre of Reigate off the main A25 in West Street since 1984, this is not on an industrial estate and the rear courtyard overlooks the scenic Reigate Priory cricket ground. From 2017 the new owners added the tap room to where old ground floor offices used to be. All the cask beer is gravity fed from a cellar at the rear of the bar with at least four cask on and six keg beers from the Pilgrim range also on. Card carrying CAMRA members will get a 10% discount on the beers. Dominoes and shove-halfpenny also on offer. Take-away beer is available from the brewery which is open weekdays from 9am. There are some bottled cask beers for sale in the tap room. You can bring in your own pizza from nearby. The tap room offers its beers also in third measures.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 6 of them.
