This marked my first visit to this one and the third venue of the tour. As they only had one on cask, the Windsor & Eton Knight of the Garter, which I had already tried just the other side of the pedestrian bridge in Eton at The George, I decided to join the rest of my party who had already visited this one prior to meeting up with them, and at the next venue on the list. The two other casks not on were visible as in Hobgoblin Gold and Fuller's London Pride with Paddington Bear-like brown luggage labels written up as "Be Back Soon" and tied onto the handpumps with string. A vast barn of a pub it is and opposite one of the two railway stations close to each other in Windsor and with this one being Windsor and Eaton Riverside. I explained to the attentive member of staff that I had already sampled her beer on the other side of the bridge but would try my luck again on my next visit.
