the landlord made you welcome and shaff very frendly very nice pub we had a meal which was excellent and the beer was excellent and nice cold

Fairly quiet this Monday when we dropped in to try their 2 courses for £7.50 at lunchtime and very good it was. Pleasant staff.

Came here with Isabel and my parents after visiting Leeds Castle. Really nice friendly pub.

I was sitting at home looking at the OS map trying to work out where would be a good place to go for a walk in the woods when I spotted a PH symbol I'd not seen before. A quick search on the old inter-web found me me a picture of the pub that showed it had a nice looking garden. 40 minutes later Jane Isabel and I were sitting in the garden enjoying the roar of the occasional motor bike and the twittering of bids in the sun.
