The pub is found in Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7ND.

It is housed in an impressive Grade II listed building by Historic England dating from 1674 and being the former Bailiff's Hall in the historic townhall buildings in The Borough. The Borough Beer House at 6 Town Hall Buildings can be approached from Farnham Station along Station Hill and then South Street. It is an independently-run “beer house” opened in December 2023 by a family who are life-long residents of Farnham and who also run a nearby pub. In just over two years from opening and on a visit in February 2026 which witnessed it serving 6 changing cask ales, it has achieved winning CAMRA’s Pub Design Award 2025 for conversion to pub use and winning CAMRA’s Surrey/Hants Borders branch Cider & Perry Pub of the Year runner-up award. They aim to provide beers from independent breweries located all around the UK and Europe aided by 18 keg lines, 6 hand pumps for cask ales normally including a dark beer, a best bitter and 'new wave' ales, and a fridge stocked with cans and bottles, alongside wine, soft drinks and a back bar of spirits. They also serve up pizzas, sharing boards and bar snacks. The downstairs seating area with bar at the rear is limited in size but there is a larger upstairs room. Dog-friendly and accompanied well-behaved children of 8 years and over are always admitted. Closes early on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
