Isabel was at a birthday party at the village hall so I left her and Jane for 15 mins and came here. It wasn't open when I arrived so I sat out side on a bench until it did.

Isabel was at nursery and I was on holiday so why not have a half - push the boat out. The chap behind the bar was friendly and the pub was light and airy with lots of pine tables and things. There were only a couple of others in but then it was only 3.30pm. Jane and I sat in the garden.

Shepherd Neame - Bishops Finger5.00ExcellentI've not had this since I was about 20 (so a while ago) when I wrote it off. However, this was excellent. Bark, raspberry and water melon. Very drinkable.
