Afternoon visit to this Grade II listed pub that is also listed by CAMRA as a heritage interior. Sprawling place with a stable block to one side converted as a dining area; a snug; a traditional bar with inglenook fireplace (and fire) and further large function room including an indoor bowling alley. I liked it. 4.5% Golden Original from another small, local brewer Wiveliscombe Heritage also on.

The pub is found in Crowcombe, Somerset, TA4 4AD.
A classic 17th Century rural pub in the village at the foot of the beautiful Quantock Hills. The flagstone public bar has a historic inglenook and the large garden, looking towards the Brendon Hills, makes this popular with locals, walkers and dogs. The bar/restaurant serves locally sourced food with some restaurant tables set within the old stables area and is quite unique. The skittle alley doubles as a function room. Staff are very welcoming and a pub not to be missed. Up to four real ales from local microbrewery Black Bear.
