Mid afternoon- about ten or so customers spread in and out, but staff clearly gearing up for an early evening rush. Food plain but ok, service good. 60s and 70s music being played rather loudly. Good views.

The pub is found in High Hoyland, South Yorkshire, S75 4BE.

Country roadside house in Bank End Lane in High Hoyland overlooking the valley towards Barnsley itself to the southeast. Main bar with eating areas left and right. Memorabilia and general feel reminiscent of late 20th Century (but probably not in a heritage way).

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
