Acorn - Barnsley Bitter | 3.80 | A great, simple beer from Acorn - pale in colour, easy drinking, with a slightly spicy hoppiness at the end. Very refreshing.
Rooster's - Farmhouse | 4.30 | A bit of a transistion for the largely Pale-centric Rooster's. Pleasant nontheless, a rounded caramel-coloured session beer with the tradmark floral hop note; although with a malter body.
Beartown (latterly part of Manning Brewers) - Bearly Spring | 4.20 | Really zingy, sherbety pint. Pale gold in colour, with a high level of bitterness. Very nice on a summer's day - but I couldn't drink a lot of it!! |
