Large, tidy pub with nice staff. Outside seating area, sports shown, can be busy on weekeneds. Friendly atmosphere despite being a 'local' pub. Traditional pub fayre served daily and on weekends. Quiz night. All Taylor's beer in excellent condition. Cask Marque accredited.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30ExcellentThe TT's classic - and still the high water mark for pale 'Yorkshire Bitter'. Smooth, fruity and refreshing. Excellent session choice.
Timothy Taylor - Golden Best (was 3.5%)3.40AcceptableCopper-coloured, a standard beer, but decent nontheless. No real hoppiness, but a good, toffee-malt backbone.

Timothy Taylor's house - so as you'd expect, a no-nonsense, town pub with TT's beer permanently on, as well as draught Tetley's and Heineken.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
