Overview

Hello, I'm Paul. I started using this site on the 08 Mar 2009 and since then I've made 2 pub visits, tried 2 different beers and visited 2 different pubs.

About Me

I've been living in The Netherlands since 1977, so I dont often have the opportunity to get a pint of real ale. But there are some consolations; plenty of Belgian and some German beers available, and an amazing number of bottled beers. I havent been able to develop the British beer connoisseurs palate. Not enough practice :-( Still, I know when a beer is enjoyable, and whether the atmosphere in a pub is congenial or not. I prefer stronger, darker beers. Porters and stouts when I can get them, but a pint of bitter suits me too.
