Evening visit, my first to the new location. Now just a pub rather than a micropub. Seems more emphasis on keg than real ales now too. Good to see bar billiards upstairs. The pub still has an expectation to set up the brewery but apparently efforts are currently concentrated in getting the delicatessen set up in the old micropub premises just a few doors along.

This is a new pub which has replaced the Thirty-Nine Steps Ale House which was a few doors down the road. A much larger pub than the one it has replaced and now with ales on handpump rather than on gravity dispense, a selection of keg and craft ales (whatever they are) is also available.
We found that the high ceilings made the place seem a bit noisy and thought that a few soft furnishings or baffles might help the acoustics.

Two visits to the opening night of the Broadstairs brewery. The queue was way down the street. More like a beer festival. Loads of craft ales and 4 real ales on. A bar billiards table is upstairs. Well worth a visit.
