What an amazing day! the feel and vibe of the whole festival was fantastic, what a way to spend a saturday, chilling out on the grass drinking wonderful ales and cider, eating probably the best food that ive had anywhere at any festival(the rib eye was sublime) whilst being treated to live music. excellent!!!! P.S I cant rate the beers/ciders I drank because I can not really rememmber what i had, Hic....

It's back? And what a resounding success it turned out to be judging by the amount of people that turned up to give their support! A good selection of Locale plus quality micro's and a decent Cider bar kept the band of Camra volunteers very busy all afternoon. The balmy weather, stacks of space, and some decent live music ensured the big crowd were kept happy. Well done Maidstone & Mid Kent Camra and all the volunteers. Hope they bring it back next year even bigger and better! I've listed all the Real Ale on offer to make sure all the uninitiated dont miss this festival next year! Recommended.

The pub is found in East Malling, Kent, ME19 6BJ.

A new location for the original Maidstone Beer & Cider Festival. The East Malling Research Centre has provided an excellent venue for this first attempt. A large marquee in one of the Centre's fields, well laid out bar area, easy to find, only 15 minutes walk from East Malling railway station. A live music stage and food vendors kept the large crowd happy and a plentiful band of CAMRA volunteers kept the ale flowing! Lots of space here and, possibly, room for further expansion! Recommended.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 61 different beers and tried 16 of them.
