A hot summer day for which this pub seemed totally unprepared. Greenwich was packed with tourists and I witnessed dozens of them go elsewhere when informed that there was a thirty minute for food as they only had one chef on duty. The bar could have done with another member of staff as well. I noticed that there was a conservatory area not being used and and upstairs dining are so this pub had a potential to capitalise on the available trade but seemed to be doing its best to assist the competition. I can only hope that there were some unforseeable operational difficulties today.

Mid afternoon busy in both bars following the tail end of the lunchtime rush. We sat in the left side bar which had a couple of bar stools free however we had to suffer the impediment of the strong odour of FnC's and its related vinegar fall out.

I was surprised to find myself the only customer when I walked in here at around 8pm. Not for long though as a couple of tables of tourists came in for fish and chips.
