Evening visit until 11pm close. Relaxed feel to the place tonight but definitely a corporate feel.

12 Feb 2016 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. Having recently lost the Lord Hood and The Old Loyal Britons pubs nearby, as a replacement we get this ghastly place. 4 beers showing on handpumps but when asked only 2 were available but when asked why pumpclips were not turned around I was told they could not be turned round and having been open a few weeks only they had not been given anything to put over them!! Should I return with strips of the Turin Shroud? This plus £4.30 pp London Pride which would shame many central London pubs and a 12.5% gratuity added to the dining menu it tells you all about this new house. A re-visit is highly unlikely I aver.

The pub is found in Greenwich, Greater London, SE10 9FR.

New build pub opened in January 2016 in Victoria Parade but right on the river front with commanding views over the Thames and Canary Wharf from 3 sides of both floors. Modern building style with lots of uncovered ducting. Downstairs bar has 8 handpumps, in 2 banks each of 4 and the first floor bar has 3 handpumps. There is a lift between ground and first floors. Significant emphasis on food offering on both floors with an open view kitchen on the ground floor. Outside covered terrace seating.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
