Early afternoon and quiet just a couple of others in yet another friendly welcoming locals pub. A plethora of artefacts of all descriptions adorning just about every available space made this place feel more like a museum than a pub. Superb!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Triple fff - Pressed Rat & Warthog3.80ExcellentComplex ruby coloured dark chocolate aroma with hints of blackcurrant and plum leads to a soft yet full roast flavour with a rounded hoppy bittersweet finish.
St Austell - Tribute4.20Not Tried
Banks's - Young's London Original (was Bitter) - previously brewed in Bedford and at Wychwood3.70Not TriedSeems to have reverted back to being called Young's Bitter judging by the pump clip.

Evening. September venue for our Friday Evening Group. One barmaid was running this busy pub all night including potman duties - a real trojan who knew her £3.60 times table until I asked her what 33 £3.60s was and her reply was and remains unprintable!

Good regular busy yet relaxing Monday night feeling. Took my girlfriends dog Finny who was quite welcome and happy sat in front of the coal fire.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hepworth - Dark Horse3.80ExcellentThis really wowed me. I didn't expect much from Hepworth in all honesty. This just tantalized my taste buds with crystal malt and chocolate all over the palette. Thoroughly good after dinner first pint. Fairly thick deep beige head which lasted for over half of my pint.
Hop Back - GFB (Or Gilbert's First Brew) (superseded by 3.5% version from about 2010)3.80PoorThis wasn't on particularly good form, certainly didnt taste like it after the Hepworth Dark horse. Ever so slightly cloudy. Perhaps tired or not left long enough to pour.. The goldings hops still pulled through strongly in this beer.

Pleasant quiet regular Monday night atmosphere.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hogs Back - Tongham TEA (previously T.E.A.)4.20ExcellentA good all round fairly regular pint of TEA. Crystal clear, nice thick head, fruity, and a tart dry aftertaste.
Hepworth - English Summer Ale4.20AcceptableNot a big fan, thin head, not much on the palette. Potentially a lager drinkers cross over to ale? Some interesting hops.. research since has proven possibly Tettnang hops, and others from the UK and Germany. Perfect temperature as always at this pub. Lemon flavours.

Busy for a Monday night, perhaps 20 people around the pub. Sunny day so we all sat out in the beer garden enjoying the rays.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hop Back - Summer Lightning5.00ExcellentI could have happily sat and drank this all night in the pleasant evening sun. Glad to see this has replaced the landlords favourite of Sharps Special (cask conditioned).
Hepworth - Pullman First Class Ale4.20Good
Sambrook's - Wandle3.80GoodDeep golden copper colour. Good temperature. Pleasant session ale. Light and fruity. Thin white creamy head.

The pub is found in Hampton Hill, Greater London, TW12 1JN.

Welcoming corner pub in Hampton Road, full to the brim with random collectables. The glass topped tables cover old newspapers, coins and banknotes. The ceiling is covered in fishing rods, and all kinds of random items. They've even squeezed in a wicker bicycle, and a random traffic light! This all sounds quite odd, but this pleasant local pub really makes you feel welcome. There are always 5 pumps on, a selection of international lagers, not to forget a fair whisky selection. During the summer months there is a very pleasant small beer garden well maintained and an extra recently converted room off this to help extend the interior pub during busy periods. As the winter falls in one can always expect a wood or coal fire to be slowly burning away in the centre of the pub too. Nearest railway station is Fulwell.

We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 16 different beers and tried 11 of them.
