Ian | | 23 Nov 2006 | Badged as BSA (Butcher's Special/Supreme Ale). Very deep chestnut colour, some white head. It's got a kind of sourness, some blackberry fruit. Dark fruit aroma, rich malt, but agile too in mouth. Then the finish is like a porter or stout. Really rather stunning and almost un-pigeon-hole-able. |
