Arundel - Sussex Mild | 3.70 | Sweet and smooth with toffee and caramel malt flavours and very little hoppiness. A dryish finish. My score 16/20. | |
1648 - 3 Threads | 4.30 | Ruby coloured old mild style beer with a good mix of biscuity malt and fruity hop. My score 15/20. | |
Ascot - On The Rails | 3.80 | Interesting to see this in the mild section, it is definitely not a mild. Although dark brown in colout it has assertive hop bitterness and just a little burnt malt taste. Mouthfeel is thin. my score 14/20. |

Wantsum - Dynamo (superseded by 4.3% version) | 4.60 | Strong golden ale with hop bitterness and a little malt balance. My score 15/20. | |
Whitstable - Renaissance Ruby Mild | 3.80 | Some hop bitterness in this with some biscuity malt flavour as well. My score 15/20. | |
Arundel - Trident | 5.00 | Hoppy and bitter premium bitter, amber in colour with a dry, bitter finish. My score 14/20. | |
Wantsum - Turbulent Priest | 4.40 | Traditional best bitter with a very dry finish. My score 14/20. | |
Royal Tunbridge Wells - Sovereign Blonde | 3.80 | Quite a bitter pale beer, with some of the bitterness from malt as well as hop. My score 14/20. |

Organised jointly by the South East division of SIBA and Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Club. Held in a marquee at the Rugby Club.
We have visited this Beer Festival twice, seen 10 different beers and tried them all.
