Hogan Sampling		21 Mar 2026	Presented with good head and lacing but not lasting on this pale amber from the oldest independent brewery in the Chiltern Hills and Buckinghamshire, located south-west of Tring. Founded in 1980, it is located on a working farm in Terrick, near Aylesbury. It is a family-run business known for using traditional methods and 100% British ingredients. It is the brewery's original flagship beer, first brewed in 1980. A sweetish hoppy first bite from its British Cascade hops, lending it a light citrus and floral aroma. Honey-infusions rising to make any bear very contented aided by its biscuity malt base with honeyed malts in on the act. A sweetish hoppiness prevailing with the flavours of honey and grapes mixed with a citrus floral note lingering before its amble downwards. Slightly tired, but not growling thankfully, due to its head and lacing not hanging around.
