These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Philip Pirrip | ![]() | 28 Aug 2025 | New cask on today. A good condition dry pale |
Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 28 Aug 2025 | Also fresh on this evening was this pale from Salopian Brewing Company, north of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, and a collaboration with the Derbyshire brewery, Thornbridge, from Bakewell, south-west of Sheffield. Head and lacing, very good, and lasting, good. A fruit-infused piney hoppiness in its first bite. A hoppy fruitiness rising with hints of citrus and tropical fruits and a dry hoppiness winning over. It has for my taste buds flavouring akin to a dry white wine taste in its finale with a grapefruit or two in on the act. Thornbridge's Jaipur was in on the mix with Salopian's Kashmir to make their joint-anniversary beer. Salopian came about in 1995 while Thornbridge can trace its early beginnings back to 2005. |
