Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 14 Jun 2025 | Very good head and lacing on this Derby-based, north-east of Burton-upon-Trent, red IPA and lasting. A very malty, caramel-infused, first hit. A dry bitterness gently rising up and aided by its Chinook and Summit hoppiness and lingering on. Possibly my first tasting of a Brunswick ale and a pleasure it was. The brewery has been going since 1991 and I see they do a good one for the Mind the Gap micro as here: Railway Porter, a classic English black porter at 4.3%. |
4.80% ABV.
