Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 26 Jul 2025 | Following on from the Spoons' Ruddles Best, this Bury St Edmunds' pale ale was equally very low gravity but a great refreshing taste and not overly peach-infused. Head and lacing, very good, and lasting, good. A hoppy first bite from its First Gold and Alora. A peachy fruitiness alongside stone fruit rising up on my palate and lingering. A hint of honey in among its light maltiness sailing off. Said by the brewer to be a new kid on the block this summer and certainly my first sampling of it. |
