Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanPoor08 May 2007 Had a diacetyl butteryness to it that I didn't care for, but still impressed that they are carrying one if not two Nelson beers.
IanGood27 Apr 2007 Copper with tightish beige head. Fruit and malt, bit of choc. This is a nice deep fruity bitter. Well done Nelson and JD Wetherspoon. I mean it's a good bitter served well and it's a Kent micro. Really high turnover of beers in the festival as well, some only lasting one day.

IanGood02 Feb 2007 Deep copper colour with disappearing beige head. Malty aroma, quite fresh. Good fruits in mouth. Bit of choc. Nelson beers have certainly improved since they got a new brewer.
