Ian | | 01 Oct 2008 | Gold, thin off white head from the sparkler. Blueberry fruit hits you up front. Not sure the mix of obvious fruit and a bitter works, like the Westerham kriek. You can't mix sweet fruit and bitter. It's like your mouth wants to go in 2 opposite directions at the same time. Good bluberry aroma and an ok bitter underneath, but the 2 just don't meld well. Not even as good as a Belgian fruit lambic. |
