Ian | | 29 Apr 2009 | Just thinking about what this beer could have been makes me depressed. |

Dubbel | | 22 Apr 2009 | Not as good as at Orpington. More metallic tasting, malty and lacking in the hop department. |

Dubbel | | 22 Apr 2009 | Poor example of this beer. I'd have been put off if this was my first go at this speciality brew. But I know its secret. I know how good it can be. |

Andrew | | 17 Apr 2009 | A red early hopped Irish style beer. Why? Poor. |
Ian | | 17 Apr 2009 | In the style of an amber ale, but lacks the PNW hop kick. Malts are alright, some nice red fruit, some hop dryness, but as I say so disappointing that the brewer hadn’t brought more hops with her. My big hope for this festival dampened by a lack of courage and ambition. Not all of us like bland boring beers.

Dubbel | | 16 Apr 2009 | This is an excellent yankee ale, chocolate brown in colour with an alluring fruity nose and sweet palate and spicy dry hop reprise. Not too daft with the hops. Very drinkable indeed. Even my colleague conceded that it had a lovely flavour, then went back to drinking his Fosters. |
