These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

RayAcceptable15 Jul 2010 Poured a light straw colour with a loose white head. Initial exciting burst of floral hops on the nose and in the mouth well balanced with a soft maltiness. All spoiled by phenolic hints in the finish.

McGargleGood19 Feb 2013 No pump clip to show that any real ale was available but a polite enquiry revealed that this hoppy favourite was 'on'. I do wonder why pubs who offer real ale sometimes don't promote them better.
McGargleAcceptable31 Oct 2010 Light hops still present but fruits to the fore as the cask drained.
