#6 heritage for the day and completing all 5 in Hastings. Liked this a lot. Friendly, helpful young bar staff, a good section of pies dishes (had the local smoked mackerel) and a roomful of mounted squares of tartan!

Sunday lunchtime. Last knockings of a St George’s Day beer festival in the front bar. Just time for one. I did not note the other beers available.
| Pig & Porter - Skylarking | 4.00 | | Pale, bitter and hoppy. Just a touch too thin I thought, but near end of barrel. |
