DubbelExceptional29 Dec 2008 This was so lusciously full-bodied and morish that I did something I have never done in the Market Porter before; I had the same beer twice in a row.

DubbelExcellent23 Dec 2008 A good two years since I've seen this beer and it didn't disappoint. Splendid classical porter with a loose yet persistent white head. Perfect for a dark winter lunchtime.

IanGood26 Jan 2007 I really like this porter and it slipped down easily, after my harum scarum ride on a bicycle from Liverpool Street Station.

IanExcellent14 Jan 2007 Very, very dark ruby with lasting beige head. Very tasty beer. Fresh yeast, choc and some dark fruit skin on the aroma. Nice dark fruits in mouth. Really lovely choc, damson, blackberry, blackcurrant flavour, but not sour. Lovely porter.
